Double Math Program
During the 2022-2023 school year the Maple Leaf World School Program Math department at the senior high school has been doing amazing things. Our program is robust, challenging and prepares students to get into the top universities.

Under the dynamic leadership of Head Master Zhang Ruifang and International Program Principal Meghann Kenkel the math department has implemented an extra program to improve students problem solving, communication and creative thinking in math. Our dedicated Head Master, administrators and teachers worked many extra hours organizing and putting together a special program unique to our Chongqing Maple Leaf Math World School Program campus focused on Leadership, problem solving and communication for our math students. Students were selected and organized into groups. Each group was given an extra math instruction once a week based on their unique needs. Furthermore, all math students were given extra practice each weekend to improve their skills.

The counseling team and math department worked closely together to communicate with parents about this program and provide support to parents who were supporting the program at home with their students. Under this program we saw a direct increase in students math skills, leadership in mathematics and communication about mathematics. As students excelled, they had opportunities to earn recognition and rewards.

The Double Math program is one of the many dynamic academic programs that we have here at Chongqing Maple Leaf International school. This program is one in many of the robust World School Program which helps secure our students place in the top universities and as global leaders.
