更好的自己丨田卓琳，从内向小白到学生领袖，只隔着一个“枫叶”的距离

From An Introverted Beginner To A Student Leader In Maple Leaf
今年是田卓琳在枫叶学习生活的第六年，当初那个课前演讲不敢开口，一站上舞台就惧怕的害羞男孩，现已华丽蜕变为高中部学生会主席。这看似巨大的变化，其实只隔着一个枫叶的距离。
This year is the sixth year of Tian Zhuolin's study and life in Maple Leaf. The bashful boy who shied away from getting on the stage and speaking in front of others has now masterfully evolved into the President of the High School Student Union. Although there appears to be a significant difference, there really isn't much of one—it is just because of Maple Leaf.
枫叶的初中，学业压力并不大，老师主要是从学习的广度上去引发学生思考。进入高中阶段，小组合作、科学展、课程展、艺术节等一系列课内外活动让他意识到“参与”的重要性。
In Maple Leaf middle school, teachers mainly aim to stimulate students to explore in knowledge. When he entered high school, a series of activities in and out of the classroom, such as group work, Science Fairs, curriculum exhibitions, and art festivals, made him realize the importance of "participation".
在学术上，他毫不含糊，课上与老师积极互动，课下合理安排学业与活动，以GPA 93的高分结束高二课程。
Academically, he has been very active in class, interacting with his teachers and organizing his studies and activities to finish his sophomore year with a GPA of 93.
周末，他积极报名了阿思丹商赛，和队友们确立目标，明确分工，在为期三天的模拟商战中一路披荆斩棘，荣获金奖。在学生会，他从体育部部长做到学生会主席，工作勤勤恳恳，精心规划每一次活动，为同学们的课余生活增添更多的色彩。
On weekends, he actively signed up for the ASDAN Business Simulation. After he worked with his teammates to set goals and work hard, they won the gold medal in the three-day business simulation. In the Student Union, he has been working diligently from being the head of the Sports Department to the President of the Student Union, carefully planning every activity to add more colors to the after-school life of students.
在田卓琳身上，我们可以清晰地看到：从普通到耀眼，只差一个“自信”的距离；从怯场到如今舞台上的落落大方，只差一个“勇敢”的距离；从内向小白到学生领袖，只差一个“枫叶”的距离。
From Tian Zhuolin, we can clearly see that from being ordinary to outstanding, it's a matter of confidence. From being afraid of going on stage to confidently speaking on stage, it's a matter of courage. From being an introverted beginner to a student leader, it is a matter of being in "Maple Leaf".
