Hi, My Chinese name is Yu Qiuyi, and my English name is Yumiko. I am a student from Class 1 of ESL Grade. This is my fifth year since I came to Maple Leaf. I like art very much. I have always been looking forward to the day when the epidemic ends. That way, we can meet our good friends every day. 我无时无刻不在期待疫情结束的那一天，这样就可以跟好朋友天天见面啦。我们一起去看海、去旅游、去做那些计划了很久的事情，去见见那些好久不曾谋面的老朋友，去感受大自然带来的美好，去和姐妹们一起疯狂玩耍。

We always think that there is a long way to go, but we forget that things are changeable. Before the epidemic war, none of us expected that the winter of 2019 would last for such a long time, which completely changed our way of life. We became accustomed to keeping away from the crowd, and no longer got together freely. We are also getting used to wearing masks when we go out, and doing nucleic acid tests. 我们总以为来日方长，却忘了世事无常。这场疫情战争未打响前，我们谁也没有想到2019 年的冬天能持续这么长时间，一场疫情彻底改变了我们的生活方式。我们开始习惯和人群保持距离，不再肆无忌惮的聚集。我们也慢慢习惯了出门戴口罩，紧急时刻做核酸的日常。一晃三年，那是我们回不去的别样青春。

Not long ago, the World Cup came to a successful end. I admire Messi the most. Through his unremitting efforts, he finally won the championship this year. What was pitiful is that Chinese soccer team did not make it to be in the World Cup and I hope they can play in the World Cup next time!
Life is not always perfect. We have sadness during the epidemic as well as the World Cup. Facing what we feel sorry about and being optimistic is the truth of life.
不久之前世界杯圆满结束了，我很喜欢梅西，梅西是我最敬佩的一个球员，通过不懈的努力，他的球队今年终于获得了冠军。遗憾的是中国足球队未能进入世界杯，期待下次世界杯能看到中国足球队的身影。
生活不会总是完美的，疫情期间我们有缺憾，世界杯我们也有缺憾。直面缺憾并对生活抱有希望才是生活的本质。
